I Am Water
I am water. You might see me in a glass, a river, a cloud, or a tear. I can be quiet and still, or wild and crashing. People drink me when they’re thirsty, and plants need me. Without me, life would stop. Sometimes, I destroy, flood, or freeze.

Under the earth, we find precious mineral resources like gold, copper, and iron. These are used every day. Diamond is a rare mineral—even more valuable than gold!
The Uses of Metals
Gold is soft, shiny, and easy to shape, so people use it for coins and jewelry. Copper is a strong metal used for electrical wires and pipes. Iron is super strong and helps make cars and bridges.
Non-renewable Resources
To get minerals, miners dig deep into the ground. Minerals are non-renewable because they take millions of years to form. We must use them wisely and never waste them to save them for the future.
Public A Story by the Little Digger
A little digger watched the big ship get stuck in the thick mud. Other machines tried but didn’t give up. The small digger didn’t give up and worked hard, clearing a path around the ship.
